And we’re live…

So a double entry for the start of week three building Our Tomorrow NZ.

First and update on progress from last week’s tasks, then what’s coming up this week.

1) Pitch Deck ✅

Done and across to my old contact and polling expert Ben Page (formerly of Ipsos). With grateful thanks for feedback to a few local experts - I updated the flow of the data schema to the below…

2) Basic Website up and running ✅ ✅

…plus managed to set up a Go Fund Me page that I’ll promote when the time comes - at the moment costs are minimal and I am covering those and have five months time to get this project to something approaching sustainable.

This website is very simple currently - It’ll need huge development to host the sorts of interactive engagement tools I want to create to build and grow Our Tomorrow and make it a truly community owned pollster. If you can help reach out to me at paul.comer@ourtomorrow.nz and let’s chat.

3) Create Mock Ups of the different components ✅ ✅ ✅

Better than that - I’ve used AI to include the mock ups in a 3 minute video explainer of what we’re trying to build with Our Tomorrow New Zealand

Apparently though - a Kiwi accent isn’t yet an option… :-)

So what’s this week got coming up….

I’ve already met with a partner of one of the Big Four consultancy firms - to see how they might be able to support this project - and that’s looking positive

And I’m meeting with someone from Wellington’s Angel Startup community on Friday to help me get my pitch deck into a format to start making approaches to potential philanthropic funders.

So good progress again…more to do…
